I’m keeping my geek card…

… because I DID remember it was PI day, even if I didn’t actually make a pie. I bought one, though, does that count?

Next year, I’ll be better prepared. And I may make a pie.

Do you make pies for PI day? Do you know what I’m talking about?
… Oh, apparently it’s also National Chip Day and National Nap Day. Or something like that. Thing 2 told us so at the dinner table, and I’m inclined to believe him.

  1. Yup, we did! My daughter made an apple pie for her Math club. My husband is a physicist. We are geek central around here. 🙂

    • Ooh, apple pie sounds really good. I picked up an egg custard one and the boys wanted to see what it would be like to have it thrown in someone’s face.

Needless to say we didn’t do that experiment. … but we might one day right before bathtime. Don’t tell them that, though. *grin*

    • Helloooo, Miss Eden! We sure do miss you, darling! You’re welcome to guest blog anytime–and I’m sure we have the perfect date on the calendar to pen you in. 😉

      Love & hugs,
      Lis

  2. Even though I have a math geek for a son, he didn’t say anything about the date until I said it’s pi day while he was walking by me on his way to the kitchen. He said, “Yeah, that’s 3.14159265358…” and the rest of the numbers he was spouting off faded into the aether as my mind turned to mush.

The whole thing made me think I need to make pies more often. 😉
